Adrienne Stein is a young artist currently living and working in York, PA. From an early age, Adrienne identified within herself a passion for drawing and painting. She subsequently devoted herself to studying the Old Masters and seeking classical training. She perpetually cultivates her skills toward mastery. She is inspired by the beauty of her surroundings as well as her travel experiences, literary and legendary influences, and especially the human form.
Adrienne received her BFA from Laguna College of Art & Design in 2007. She has exhibited her work since the age of 11, selling out shows in the Mid-Atlantic region and receiving national press. She has received numerous awards from organizations such as the Portrait Society of America, The Art Renewal Center, The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation, the National Scholastic Art Awards, and the John F. and Anna Lee Stacey Award. Adrienne has made charitable donations to local and national organizations and has had motivational speaking engagements. She has studied under many gifted and influential instructors during her undergraduate studies in addition to studying at various institutions in Pennsylvania, New York, California, as well as abroad in France and Italy. Adrienne hopes to make a life of continued discovery and ever-renewed dedication to excellence in her craft.
